An International Prisoner`s Day appeal for solidarity with Palestinian prisoners ICSPPI - The Israeli government violates International Law with regard to Palestinian rights and abdicates from all responsibility to provide the basic requirements of life. It holds the prisoners’ families and the Palestinian National Authority accountable for providing prisoners with their basic necessities. Further, the Israelis intentionally detain prisoners within the borders of Israel (outside Palestinian areas), thus breaking article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention. This gives them the pretext to forbid the prisoner’s family from visiting him/her. 15/4/2007

Israeli Settler Attacks in the Occupied Palestinian Territories During February - March 2007 Ahmad Jaradat and Anahi Ayala Iacucci -- AIC -- "On 4 March, six armed settlers from Gil’ad, near the village of Tal in the Nablus District attacked 65-year-old farmer Suliaman Abed Alazeez Hamed, while he was working in his field with his wife. [...] Suliaman reports that the settlers came from the settlement and told him to leave the place, when he refused they stoned him in the head and injured him.
