Cost of magnetic cards, permits for Palestinian workers Dr. Issa Smairat - AIC - "Possession of a magnetic ID card is, in most cases, a pre-requisite for Palestinian West Bank and Gaza Strip identity card holders to receive a permit from the Israeli authorities to enter Occupied East Jerusalem or Israel. How are these cards obtained and what do they cost already pressed Palestinian workers?" 20/5/2013

`Naturally and in and by themselves` (including 1968 occupation guidelines)Shay Fogelman/Haaretz - Translation: Sol Salbe/Middle East News Service - 2) We must not undertake actions to develop and consolidate the West Bank and Gaza - we must not encourage private or public construction. 3) As long as they don`t permanently relocate to Israel, there is nothing wrong with regulated employment of Arabs in Israel. A Necessary Reckoning With TorturePhilip Giraldi - The Council for the National Interest - The detainee treatment report is not an easy read, but it should convince a wider audience that the United States behaved wrongly post-9/11 and should now be strong enough to face the truth and initiate measures to ensure that nothing similar happens again.-rh 9/5/2013
Academia Undermined: Israeli Restrictions on Foreign National Academics in Palestinian Higher Education Institutionrte (Right to Enter) - "The quality of Palestinian education and higher education in particular, has been very negatively impacted by the prolonged Israeli military occupation. Schools and universities have been closed for extended periods. B’Tselem’s findings: Harm to civilians significantly higher in second half of Operation Pillar of DefenseB’Tselem - Press Release - The report provides statistics on the numbers of Palestinians and Israelis killed over the course of the operation, which lasted from 14 to 21 November 2012. The report challenges the common perception in the Israeli public and media that the operation was “surgical” and caused practically no fatalities among uninvolved Palestinian civilians. Furthermore, the report finds that there was a significant difference between the first and the final days of the operation: of the uninvolved Palestinian fatalities, 80% were killed in the last four days of the operation.-rh30/5/2013
