|Beyond Munich: the UN Security Council helps disarm a prospective further victim of US aggression||Edward Herman and David Peterson - Znet - Imagine that when Hitler was threatening to invade Poland, after having swallowed Czechoslovakia-with the help of the Western European powers` appeasement of Hitler at Munich in September 1938-the League of Nations imposed an arms embargo on Poland, making it more difficult for the imminent victim to defend itself, and at the same time suggested that Poland was the villainous party. Something quite analogous is happening now.||29/4/2007|

On 1. 4.07 H arrived at the Security Fence in the area of Catana and cut an electric cable in order to steal it. A plea bargain was struck, taking into consideration the minor damage of the offence, the young age of the defendant, his clean past and the fact that he has confessed. He promised never to do such a thing again and said that he wants to get back to school as soon as possible. The sentence suggested by the plea bargain was accepted by the judge: 91 days detention, 3 months suspended detention for 2 years, 500 NIS fine. The protest tent of the Palestinian family is dismantled, and in the house itself we did not detect much action either. The blockade that prevented Palestinian vehicular movement has been removed to let settler traffic through, during the holidays, and has not been reinstated yet. But the Palestinians cannot use it anyway, because of all the barriers around. A military BP jeep parks there constantly as well as big cement cubicles. So there is an additional CP. A neighbor told us that the settlers let the generator work all day and night, and its noise lets not a minute of quiet for his family”||16/4/2007|
