by Saed Bannoura

Palestinian medics and firefighters rushed to an area near Tiqua’ village, in the Bethlehem District, to rescue a group of Jewish settlers after a mechanical error set their bus ablaze, near the Tiqua’ settlement, east of the Palestinian village.
No injuries were reported due to the fire. Palestinian medics and fire fighters rushed to the scene and managed to put the fire off.
Israel medics and soldiers also arrived to the scene and both Palestinian and Israeli teams managed to safely evacuate the settlers.
Tiqua’ settlement, as the case with all Israeli settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, is built on Palestinian lands.
All settlements constitute war crimes as they are built on lands that were illegally stolen from the Palestinian people. Settlements violate the International Law and the Fourth Geneva Conventions
