Israeli naval forces attacked on Tuesday Palestinian fishing boats off the shoreline of northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Lahiya.
Fishermen said that navy vessels opened fire at them while still close to the shore and forced them to go back. Damage was reported to boats but no injuries among fishermen.
Since Israeli strengthened its siege on the Gaza Strip on June of 2007, the navy rarely allows local fishermen to go far in the sea to fish and constantly attack them.
