This Monday, 24/1, 20:00: Yeshayahu Leibowitz Prize is given to Shulamit Aloni and to Sara Beninga, a key member of Solidarity movement
This coming Monday, the 24th of January 2011 at 20:00 at Ztavta Tel-Aviv, Yesh-Gvul movement will be given the Yeshayahu Leibowitz Prize for the second year in a raw. The Prize is given for outstanding political involvement and contribution to the struggle against the occupation or for the separation of state and religion in the spirit of Prof. Leibowitz’s views.
Last year the prize was given to Prof. Alice Shalvi and Rabbi Arik Asherman.
This year the prize committee has decided to give it to Shulamit Aloni and to Sara Beninga,
a key member of Solidarity movement.
This Monday, January 24th, at 20:00, at Ztavta Tel-Aviv
we will be there together with our Palestinian partners
from Sheikh Jarrah, Silwan and Lod,
with solidarity and appreciation to Sarah.
