Turn up the Heat on JNF: Speak your mind on their FB page
Last Friday we sent you this message about human rights abuses in the Negev: `On February 16th and again on February 17th the Bedouin village of Al-Arakib was destroyed for the 17th and 18th times, the culmination of a week of repeated demolitions, vicious police beatings and shooting of Bedouin children, women and men with rubber bullets by Israeli Riot Police. All so the Jewish National Fund can plant a forest over the remains of the village.` We invited you to a call-in day with our allies Jewish Alliance for Change.

Hundreds of you took time to call the Jewish National Fund and tell them to stop planting forests on confiscated land, and we thank you. The effects are being felt, but we need to keep increasing the pressure.

Now we have to escalate further. We want to take the message to the Jewish National Fund`s facebook page.

To participate in this action, go to their Facebook page and hit `like.` After posting, you can `Unlike` the page on the bottom left hand side and your post will remain on the page.

Post the comment: `Not another demolished home! Not another brutal expulsion of Bedouin, or wiped out village, for JNF forests! Stop sowing conflict between Jews and Arabs in the Negev!`

or make up your own message. You can also visit the new facebook page for `Stop the JNF from planting forests on confiscated land` and `like` it.

Thanks to you, JNF is already feeling the heat. Now we can use Facebook to ensure they don`t ignore the message of all those calls, to stop planting forests on confiscated Bedouin lands.
