but because of the people who don't do anything about it

44 Years of Occupation and No End in Sight
Women in Black - Jerusalem
Stop the Occupation !!!
The Middle East is in uproar, whole nations are enraged and demanding freedom and equality. The Arab Spring is approaching us, but we are digging in, as if the occupation can last forever. As if it were possible to continue forever dominating millions of disenfranchised Palestinians, to systematically grab their land, expelling families from their homes and giving those very homes to the settlers, imprisoning millions behind walls, forcing them to live under a regime of checkpoints and passes, separating farmers from their farm lands and tearing families apart. The state`s economy is mobilized to perpetuate and strengthen the occupation at the expense of the welfare of its citizens. The world is appalled by Israel`s actions; the economic, academic and cultural boycott is expanding; and still we are digging in, entrenching and isolating ourselves in a self-righteous cult of persecution.
For how long?
We and our children have no future, but in peace,
And peace is only possible by ending the occupation
Women and men, come mark with us the 44th anniversary of the occupation
