The surge of settlement continues. This week plans for the construction of thousands of new housing units in East Jerusalem have been publicized.
Further, settler activist Aryeh King managed to take over another large building in the Umm Haroun neighbourhood in Sheikh Jarrah.

There also success: The Supreme court ruled that the works undertaken in Wadi Hilweh street in Silwan, done purely for the City of David tourist site and without taking into consideration the Palestinian residents` needs - was undertaken without the needed permit, and ordered the authorities to dismantle the unauthorized additions to the street.

Also, the Jerusalem Magistrates Court rejected the settlers bid to evict the Farhan family from Sheikh Jarrah.
This week we will stand again alongside our Palestinian partners
in Sheikh Jarrah against settlement and oppression
