Mexican Congress to vote on proposal to recognize State of Palestine

Laroc Hurtado - Stop the War - Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 29, the Mexican Congress
is due to vote on the proposal of Deputy José Antonio León Mendivil, of the
Party of the Democratic Revolution, urging the Federal Government to recognize
the independent and sovereign State of Palestine, establish full diplomatic
relations between the two states and therefore upgrade the Mexican
Representative Office in Ramallah to a full-fledged Embassy.
