Summary:
Israeli soldiers shot to death a boy from Mughayar village who participated in a demonstration protesting the building of a new settler outpost near his village; settlers from `Maskiyot` in the Palestinian Jordan Valley attacked Palestinian shepherds from En Al Hilwa and injured their flocks; invasions by settlers from outposts of Palestinian privately-owned land and Waqf ground in the Palestinian Jordan Valley, the West Bank hill range and South Hebron Hills are expanding, backed up by the Israeli army and the Civil Administration that - at the same time - continues to demolish Palestinian homes and damage their property, there and in Jerusalem. [End summary]
- On Friday, December 4, soldiers shot to death Ali Abu Alia, a 15-year old Palestinian from Mughayar village in the West Bank hill range., during a Palestinian demonstration protesting the closure of the village`s access road. The exit from the village was already blocked by the Israeli forces since morning, in order to prevent villagers from joining another protest, against the outpost being built near En Samiya, that was taking place a few kilometers away. The European Union has demanded that Israel investigate this horrific incident and prosecute the perpetrators.
On Wednesday settlers from the outposts near Tayibe junction plowed vast areas of privately-owned and tended Palestinian land in the area. Activists arriving there on Thursday in order to document the damage met soldiers who tried to chase them away and prevent them from documenting there.
In the northern Palestinian Jordan Valley, it was reported on Friday that settlers from `Maskiyot` attacked shepherds from the En Al Hilwa community and injured 2 cows. On Wednesday activists accompanied shepherds around nearby Makhoul.

On Wednesday, during a plowing session coordinated with the Civil Administration on Palestinian Susya land near the settlement of `Susya`, soldiers prevented Palestinians from plowing several fields which the settlers have invaded and begun tending.
On Friday, it was reported that settlers prevented a landowner in Wadi Tawamin from approaching his own land.
On Saturday, activists accompanied Palestinian plowing near the outpost `Avigail`. Under orders by the outpost settler, an officer of the Civil Administration who arrived at the site forbade Palestinian plowing of the area near the outpost`s access road, even though the Israeli Supreme Court had approved the fact that these are privately-owned Palestinian lands and even committed itself to re-route the outpost access road that had been paved on these same privately-owned lands. The settler himself entered the Palestinian fields that are closed to Israelis by order of the regional commander, attacked Palestinian farmers plowing, and vandalized the seed they carried. Israeli army, police and Civil Administration personnel present at the site at the time did not do a thing.
On Saturday, activists also helped remove rubble at Khalat A-Dhabba.
At Umm Al Ara`is, a Palestinian landowner discovered that during the week, settlers from `Mitzpe Yair` outpost had prepared a route through his land. When he arrived there on Saturday, a settler from the outpost was there yet again, provoked the Palestinian landowner`s family and purposely entered areas closed to Israelis by order of the Israeli regional commander.
On Wednesday, December 3, Meretz party Members of Knesset held a tour of Palestinian communities inside Firing Zone 918 that are threatened by demolition and eviction.
