Having already undergone six such terms, he is now getting to a cumulative 100 days of imprisonment. There is no legal limit to the times the military authorities can repeat this process. Shouting in Israel’s face | | Ola Mousa -
The Electronic Intifada -
"The Abu Ataya family has paid a heavy price for taking part in the Great March of Return. Fifteen members of the extended family have been injured during Gaza’s mass protests over the past seven months."..."“I have been unemployed for a year,” Mahmoud said. “I used to work as a blacksmith but my life is stalled and I don’t see any future. I am a man living in a dead body and I know that freedom is precious. The Israeli occupation wants Palestinians to die slowly without shouting in its face. But I have shouted.”" - id | 22/11/2018 |

‘Cycling is a form of resistance’ in the occupied West Bank | | Sohaib Samara - Middle East Monitor - Cycling Palestine resists by
moving around. In a recent tour they cycled along the Separation Wall,
with 70 cyclists following the 770 kilometre route for five days
across the length of the West Bank. Moving around Palestine isn’t
simply a sport for this group, for them, it’s about making a statement
that the land is theirs. “Our cycling is a form of resistance,” Sohaib
says, adding: “it is our duty to keep our relationship with this land,
if we stop moving around, the occupation will steal more of it.”-rh | 20/11/2018 |

Campaign launched by +972 investigation leads Airbnb to pull out of West Bank settlements | | Edo Konrad and Yael Marom - +972 Magazine - Airbnb announced that it
would pull listings from settlements in the occupied West Bank, two
years after +972 and Local Call revealed that the vacation rentals
company included apartments, cottages, and caravans located on West
Bank hilltops - some of them in "outposts" situated on stolen,
privately-owned Palestinian land, considered illegal even under
Israeli law. Activist groups and human rights organizations targeted
Airbnb with an international campaign, #StolenHomes, which gathered
hundreds of thousands of signatures. Finally, a statement on
Airbnb’s website said: “We concluded that we should remove listings
in Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank that are at the
core of the dispute between Israelis and Palestinians.” [ak]

Why Is Israel Afraid of Khalida Jarrar? | | Ramzy Baroud -
Counter Punch -
"When Israeli troops stormed the house of Palestinian parliamentarian and lawyer, Khalida Jarrar, on April 2, 2015, she was engrossed in her research. For months, Jarrar had been leading a Palestinian effort to take Israel to the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Her research on that very evening was directly related to the kind of behavior that allows a group of soldiers to handcuff a respected Palestinian intellectual, throwing her in jail with no trial and with no accountability for their action." - id
