Eclectic new album highlights Israel’s jailing of Palestinian childrenJames Edwards - Electronic Intifada - Israel’s disregard for the rights of Palestinian minors is also displayed within the Palestinian prisoner population. Who’s Afraid of Women’s Song?Tali Shapiro - Pulsemedia - So this is what peeved me so much. That with one sentence, and without even thinking about it, this soldier put me back in the place of the object without will, other than his sexuality. Of course size will determine what this instrument will be, and all its thoughts, ideas and acts- at the end of it all- are determined by one thing: Cock. rh21/12/2011

Third Annual BDS Conference Highlights Progress, Challenges PNN - Michael Dean was the most optimistic, arguing that BDS is a huge success in Europe and that "by keeping up the momentum, we are close to closing the European market to Israel.” Adam Horowitz gave a bleaker picture from the United States, stating that the US BDS campaign has little financial support compared to the pro-Israel organizations and that anyway the United States, unlike Europe, does not have many consumer products from Israel. 20/12/2011

Amira Hass: Don`t make BDS into a religionLisa Goldman/Amira Hass - +972blog - Does boycott help? Well, $10 billion of Israeli military expertise (which Israel exports annually) will not be affected by BDS. Campaigns against Ahava, Elbit & Veolia were successful. How Not to Deal with Non-Violence: A Death in the West BankKarl Vick - Global Spin - Activists carry cameras as well, assuring Mustafa Tamimi a well-documented death. In the frames published online, the young man, a distant relative of Bassem Tamimi, is seen standing in the road, just behind an armored truck. The back door of the truck is opened just enough for the barrel of a weapon. The smoke from its barrel hangs in the air. The tear-gas canister is actually visible, caught in midair as it passes the truck’s side-view mirror, halfway between the door and Mustafa Tamimi’s face, which it would destroy. 15/12/2011

Closing All For Peace Radio Sa’ar Shaked - All For Peace Radio "It has been few days now, since “All for Peace Radio” was ordered to turn off his transmitters. Just like that. The Commissars commanded and the police executed. A call is presented to the supreme high court. Our hope is that the judges of Jerusalem will justify their brave reputation, as the defenders of freedoms, as an obstacle against repression. We hope that the Supreme Court will remind the state this: the freedom of expression, and all civilian rights, is not to be taken on and off as clothing, as if when the regime wishes he grants us with them or not. This is a fundamental character of the Israeli statehood. We shall not allow the state to neglect it." ca2/12/2011

Gingrich, the Fight is on Joharah Baker - MIFTAH - The fact remains that Mustapha Tamimi died right around the time when Gingrich decided to slander us. Tamimi died fighting for his country, his land, his people and his identity. There was nothing “invented” about him or the Palestine for which died. If anything, inanities such as Gingrich’s will only make us fight harder. We will not be made irrelevant, we will not be slandered and we will not accept insults slung at us by some right-wing Republican who probably doesn’t know the second thing about Palestine or the Palestinians. 15/12/2011
