British TV personality Simon Cowell takes part in this effort, to the extent of a $250,000 donation. In five days, some 4000 people already signed the online petition, calling upon Cowell to find better ways of using the money to make our world a better place, drawing his attention to the ongoing tightening of Israel`s siege on Gaza, leaving 1.7 million people without electricity and fuel. ak5/11/2013
