Then came Cast Lead in GazaYitzhak Laor - Haaretz - Had the Palestinians produced a film in which Israeli doctors threw a wounded Palestinian out of hospital, after which policemen dumped the injured man out of a patrol car to die in the dark, the prime minister would have denounced his subjects for inciting against their masters.-rh29/2/2012

A Broken HeartAya Kaniuk - Mahsanmilim - It began after 16-year old Bilal was taken to the Russian Compound. Everyone knows the Shabak sits at the Russian Compound, and there the kids confess anything and everything and name names. It means, let’s say, give us fifteen names and we’ll let you go. Or we’ll let you sleep. Or we’ll not beat you up. Or if you don’t give us names we’ll take in your mother. Your sister. Come work with us, and we’ll give you a permit, and your brother will be allowed to enter Israel for his surgery.-rh 29/2/2012

Witness to the occupation in the South Hebron HillsRosamond Robertson - Mondoweiss - There is a world of difference between receiving an alert on my mobile: ‘One structure demolished’ and being in a room with a desperate family facing a demolition in two days’ time.
