In the West Bank, a new settlement is bornNoam Sheizaf - The regional council for Jewish settlements in the northern part of the West Bank (Samaria) celebrated on Sunday the construction of a new settlement called Leshem, located in the western part of the occupied Palestinian territories. According to a report in Maariv, 72 families have moved into their homes in Leshem, and 70 more are expected to do so in the coming year. Army Invades Central Gaza StripSaed Bannoura - IMEMC - In the latest of nearly daily Israeli incursions, six military bulldozers, accompanied by several jeeps, carried out a limited invasion into the central Gaza Strip near Al- Boreij Refugee Camp and Juhr Ed-Deen village. Israeli forces fired several rounds of live ammunition before proceeding to uproot farmlands, allegedly in order to deny cover to cross-border infiltrators.
